In Student Ministries, our mission is to partner together as students, parents, and staff to nurture and equip your students in order to anchor them in their faith. We do this by guiding students through God’s redemptive mission recorded in the Bible, fostering loving connection, equipping students to think theologically and critically, and by serving as Christ served. We strive to be relational and intergenerational as we organize around the Love of God and the study of scripture.
The Student Ministry of DCC comprises Middle School (6th/7th/8th grades) ministry and High School (9th-12th grades).
We join with the students on Tuesdays for Middle School group (6th/7th/8th) and various nights for High School group (9th-12th)
DCC Student Ministry is a time for students to meet together for relevant Bible teaching, worship, games and hanging out with their friends. High school meets for small groups & special activities and “YOUniversity” Nights, while Middle school meets on Tuesday nights at 6:00 until 7:30. YOUniversity Nights are designed to discuss relevant cultural topics and develop more critical thinking skills. Come and join us as we study several different topics! We’re passionate about our students being involved in the everyday life of the church. We invite our high school students to join their families in the main service and get involved in all aspects of adult worship including music, sound, use of technology, serving communion and other areas. Middle schoolers are dismissed after worship to attend Sunday School (6th-8th grade) in the Youth Room.
